We tend to remember the big events in our lives, but it’s the small moments that get us there. These small moments determine who we are. They give meaning to the big events. They are the unsung heroes.
Big Picture
I connect the dots to see the big picture. This means that messaging is cohesive and tells a consistent story.
Small Details
I make sure the dots themselves are precise and accurate down to the smallest detail.
Visionary Perspective
I envision the look, the feel, the long-term optics, and the path forward. I envision everything about a project from the big picture to the small details.
My story
“Your life is your life. Know it while you have it. You are marvelous. The gods wait to delight in you.”
Ch. 1 | Your Life is Your Life
When I heard these words from Charles Bukowski in a Levi’s ad several years ago, it sparked something in me. It was time for me to stop being scared of failure. It was time for me to “Go Forth” as the ad said. So I quit my job at GMR Marketing and headed West.
Ch. 2 | Learning from Experience
In hindsight, quitting my job and moving to California with a bunch of student loan debt wasn’t the safest decision I’ve ever made, but it was an amazing experience. Not only did I become the editor of an electronic music publication (Magnetic Magazine), but I also proved to myself that I could take a leap of faith and do something remarkable.
Ch. 3 | Path of a Pioneer
Since then, I’ve continued blazing my own trail. I led numerous marketing campaigns while at 10 Missions Media, and most recently, launched my own filmmaking business, Anders Erik Films. Throughout all my adventures, one constant has been writing and storytelling. People may not have attention spans anymore, but I know how powerful a story can still be. After all, it was a story about jeans that inspired me to be the pioneer I am today.
Nothing like making it down from the top of Lone Peak in Big Sky, MT to the company of a great friend! Now I have my sights set on the Big Couloir.
“Anders is incredibly loyal and reliable. He has high integrity for his work and leaves it all on the field for his comrades, which is an invaluable trait and one I wished was easier to find.”
Jay DeWitt, President, 10 Missions Media
“Anders pays attention to every single detail, and that helps him stand out from other marketing gurus. He is creative, reliable, and hard working, and his positivity truly makes him a joy to work with.”
Tessa Luedtke, Coworker, 10 Missions Media
“Anders is an elite communicator in every regard. He helped me write content for my wedding business, communicate with clients, and make strategic marketing decisions. It was like having Steve Jobs by my side.”
Tony Pechacek, Owner, Showtime Entertainment LLC

Through consistency, authenticity and a sense for adventure, we can make the stars align. And when they do, these small points of light have the power to move the world.

Strategic Storyteller
Adspeak is dead. People don’t connect with big words and cluttered sentences. Emotional connections drive every decision we make. A good story connects with people on a genuine level. It makes them feel close.
Brand Visionary
The most successful brands act like our friends. They share our values. They make us feel good about ourselves. And like our friends, they gain our trust through consistency and support. It’s not just the big adventures we go on together, it’s the small laughs and hugs we share too. Through copywriting, design and communication, I thrive on building these kinds of connections. Because ultimately, these type of brands are the ones we want to hang out with. And they’re the ones we’re loyal to.

We plot the big moments we share in a map in our minds, and it’s the small moments we share the get us to and from each one.
